MyMixMate is built to be privacy friendly. You don't need an account to browse recipes, search by ingredient or use the guided picker. This page explains what data we store, where it lives, and what we don't collect.

What we store in your browser

The following stays in your browser's local storage and never leaves your device unless you create an account and sign in:

• Your Bar — the ingredients you've added.
• Your unit preference (ml or US).
• Recently viewed cocktails.
• Taste memory notes you write on a recipe.
• Favourites you save while signed out.

Clearing your browser data clears everything above. None of it is sent to us.

What we store on our servers (account holders only)

If you create an account, we store your email address, your password as a hashed credential, your bar, your saved drinks, and your shopping list. We do not sell or share this data. You can request deletion at any time via the contact page.

Analytics

We use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Google Analytics 4) to understand which features are used. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you personally.

Advertising and cookies

MyMixMate may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on a user's previous visits to this site and other sites on the internet. Users may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's ads settings, or visit aboutads.info to opt out of third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising. When required by law, we present a consent prompt before loading ads, and respect your choice between personalised and non-personalised advertising.

What we don't collect

• We don't share account data with advertisers.
• We don't profile you across other sites.

Children

MyMixMate is intended for adults of legal drinking age. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
